Trait: Adds scales to the body of a browbird or painted satyr.
Size: Can cover up to 50% of the design. Size of individual scales should not be much larger than the example shown.

✅ Scales can be placed on the body, tail, face, ect!
✅ Scales generally resemble fish scales or flat reptile scales. 
✅ Scales can be slightly shiny or flat colored. They should not resemble metallic/reflective substances or gemstones  by default.
✅ They can also be mixed in with fur and scattered over the design.
✅ Scales can be any color

❌ Scales should be fairly flat. They should not have spikes or appear as large plates.
❌ Scales should not be much larger than the example shown
❌ Cannot be placed on the eyes, a browbird's crest, or a satyr's mask. (with the exception of scaled patches).

Note: If you cover an entire large tail in scales it will use up almost all the allowed coverage, please keep that in mind!

★ Description: 

A beverage containing strong magical energy, and you can taste it before the drink even touches your lips. It has a bitter taste with a slight hint of honey and fire, and is somehow both enjoyable and unpleasant at the same time. This particular brew is a kind that's popular to drink during hot months, though this is a special type that causes someone who drinks the entire bottle to grow scales.

★ Description: 

A dimmly glowing potion that has a strong smell indicating a high magical content. It became dangerous due to sensitive creatures, such as kitbulls, breaking into places where the item is stored and exploding from absorbing too much. This eventually resulted in the brewing of the potion being banned, however it has seen a comeback in recent years at Candleblight parties though you'd only see it brewed in small amounts to avoid disaster.

Candletown never banned the beverage though, so you'll find some festival stalls still selling it. Be careful!

★ Description: 

A sweet-flavored potion that shines in an iridescent rainbow when you swirl it around. It has one of those unique flavors that tastes like fresh fruity soap, but in a good way.

Downing an entire bottle of this stuff will change a browbird's feet into the rare webbed feet variant. Those with webbed feet are said to be distant relatives of the supposedly extinct astreans. While most browbirds prefer to avoid large bodies of water, those with this trait are well suited for the harsh oceans of the browbird homeworld!

Adds the rare Aura Breath rare trait.  

★ Description: 

This potion comes in a gorgeous diamond cut glass decanter. There is actually not much potion, most of it is a fragrant magical smoke which sticks to the liquid as you pour it into the glass, and follows as you drink it.

★ Description: 

A refined eye stone that is meant to be worn on a chain and placed around the neck. Through magical means, the enchantment will transform the necklace permanently into a halo of eyes surrounding the neck. 

 

Spiral eyes are quite valuable, especially those that are purely black and white, which are considered one of the purest forms the stones can take. The symbol has a long meaning and is important to the history of browbirds and many other groups of people!

Trait: Adds runic circles, runic patterns, or a single rune to the eyes of a browbird or painted satyr.
Size: Only affects the eyes.

✅ Can replace the iris, pupil, or fill the entire eye
✅ Runes can optionally glow/partially glow. If the glow can turn on/off please provide references of both variants.
✅ Runes can be fictional symbols or real life words/symbols. If submitting a design using real life words please provide a translation when submitting if they are non-english words. Any text that breaks community guidelines is not permitted.

An engraved spyglass filled with a strange smokey mixture of magical substances. Looking through it for a long period of time causes the sparkling magical energy to drip into the eyes, permanently marking them.

Size: No coverage limit. Any size is fine as long as it still resembles the trait.

★ Description: 

On a cold winter evening nothing quite beats sitting somewhere cozy and sipping a fresh hot cocoa from your favorite mug. Many people across the Celestial Seas find this drink in particular an excellent accompaniment to stargazing on clear nights.

Adds the mismatched eyes uncommon trait to one character.

 

★ Description: 

An odd liquid that, rather than seperating from top to bottom in order of density, seperates to the sides in a perfect split down the middle. Drinking it is bound to have all sorts of strange effects on someone.

Trait: Adds lush bushes of leaves to the painted satyr's branches. 
Size: Satyr's flora can cover up to roughly 50% of the design, this includes all flora types combined. The maximum size of the canopy should be proportional to the horns/tail it is growing on.  

✅ Can grow from the tail, horns, or other branch areas.
✅ Can be any color and made of any type of leaf, real or fantasy.

❌ Cannot grow from other areas on the body
❌ This trait does not modify branches and only grows on top of them
❌ This trait does not change color by default

If your use of the trait completely covers the tail or horn branches, please provide a small "naked" ref of the area that would normally be covered so that branch count can be confirmed.

Some satyr may lose their leaves based on the season, or trim them based on preference.

★ Description: 

A sweetened tea latte made from finely powdered leaves and served hot with cream on top and a side of cookies.  A popular treat when it's cold out. You can request whatever you want for the latte art on top!

If a satyr drinks enough cups of this stuff they may start growing leaves that match those used to make the tea.

★ Description: 

Floating sparks of aura linger in places touched by death. When passing through them they cause an odd shiver of dread that quickly passes. These flickering particles aimlessly float along abandoned paths where lost adventurers wander, sometimes leading those who follow them to strange places of power where the wisps then gradually fade away as if their purpose has finally been fulfilled.

A plate of various fried whole mushrooms with sauce served over rice. With the weather getting colder in some places it makes an excellent meal to warm you up! And what's more pleasant than cooking a whole basket of fresh picked shrooms after a day of mushroom hunting?

Trait: Adds any type of eye marking to a browbird or painted satyr. 
Size:  Eye markings can cover up to 50% of the design. They can be placed anywhere on the body, face, tail, ect!

✅ This trait can optionally glow. Glow does not have to be consistent across the eye markings in terms of coverage and color. For browbirds the glow should be close to at least one color on the crest. Glow can only affect the eye markings.
✅  Can resemble spiral eyes, regular eyes, ect. As long as they clearly read as open eye markings.
✅ Can be combined with other traits, such as star pupil eye markings if you also have the star marking trait.

❌ The markings are not functioning eyes and do not blink or otherwise animate. they should clearly resemble markings.
❌ Cannot be placed on the eyes or crest

A strange gray liquid that isn't particularly appetizing at a glance. Within it sits a cluster of eye-shaped stones that may contribute some sort of flavor or... Other effects perhaps? It has an unplesant bitter medicinal taste at first but improves over time.

Trait: Adds vines that naturally grow on the painted satyr.
Size: Satyr's flora can cover up to roughly 50% of the design, this includes all flora types combined. The maximum length of the vines can be up to the length of the satyr's body.

✅ Can be any color and any shape, real or fantasy.
✅ Does not require leaves by default and can be naked vines. This trait can have certain other flora types added to it. Leaf flora is the default available, but if you also have the flower flora or fruit flora trait they can grow from the vines as well. Briarthorn allows the vines to have thorns!

A beverage made of blended sweet fruits with an underlying sourness that packs a real punch. It's unknown if real dragons enjoy this smoothie but the signs seem to point to yes. A variant of this drink is made around Candleblight celebrations that briefly turns the fur of whoever drinks it into a random color for fun!

The power of Harara's eclipses condensed into an enchanted piece of glass that moves in time with the time of day. It's meant to be attached to a chain and worn around the neck, where it will then become a halo representing the solar phenomenon.

★ Description: 

A dark drink full of glitter that tastes mildly sweet and sour. When someone drinks it, it often stains their mouth and teeth completely black for a short time. It is served as an expensive drink at higher end restaurants and is a lesser known beverage kept secret by most who enjoy it.

 

No one knows where these drinks are sourced from, as they're delivered in a very secretive manner. The bottle it's shipped in is cut in a particular way where the light is always condensed towards a central line. The reflection combined with the dark liquid within is where it got the eclipse name it's known for. Though there are rumors that it's so rare due to only being possible to create the beverage during an eclipse...
