⚡ Mushroom Flora (★Rare)
🌈 Can be applied using a Rare Trait Potion.
🌈Can be applied using a Mixed Mushroom.Trait: Adds mushrooms that naturally grow on the painted satyr. 4pPfr
Size: Satyr's flora can cover up to 50% of the design, this is shared between: leaves, flowers, mushrooms, fruit, and sea flora. The maximum size of an individual plant is 1x head height.✅ Can grow from the mask, body, hair, tail, horns, and other patch areas
✅ Can be any color and any shape, real or fantasy.❌ Cannot grow from or entirely cover the eyes or mouth by default
❌ This trait does not replace fur or hair and should be clearly separate fungus growing on the character
❌ All types of mushroom count as only a single trait. You do not need to apply this trait multiple times.
⚡ Lustrum Wings (★Special)
🌈 Can be applied to a browbird using an Instar Prisma.
This trait can only be obtained through this item.
Special traits cannot be swapped for other special traits.Trait: Adds one set of butterfly or moth wings to one of the specified spots on the browbird.
Size: Should not be much larger than given examples. Hip placement specifically can go to the knees at maximum.✅ Can be placed on: Head, ears, shoulders, arms, legs, chest, wrists, hips, feet
✅ Wings can be inspired by butterfly or moth wings, they can be based off something real or imaginary.
✅ Can have little frills, laced edges, slight tattering, or short trailing parts (similar to a luna moth)
✅ Can be angled in different ways, such as upsided down.
✅ Placement is symmetrical, but you can have a wing missing on one side. You can also have the style and pattern of the wings be asymmetrical.❌ Cannot be placed on the character's tail or back to resemble back wings or tail wings. If placement is too close the design may be rejected.
❌ This trait does not replace other traits. It cannot be used to replace ears or eyebrows.
❌ Cannot be fully transparent or translucent but can have ares that are.
❌ Each use of this trait only applies ONE set of wings. To have multiple placements you will need multiple copies of the item. There is no limit to how many times it can be applied.
⚡ Overgrowth (Feyblood)
Causes multiple clusters of branches or thorns to grow from areas other than the horns and tail. Such as the mask, patches, or body. They should be covered in patch stripes if they grow from patches, but if they are growing from the mask or body they can be any color. They often have a mutated, multi-branching look to them.
Also allows branches to grow from the eyes, neck, mouth, and so on!

⚡ Curse of Arachnid (Feyblood)
Grants the satyr one of the following per use of the trait:
- Additional set of arms (can also be applied to legs for grove or centaur forms)
- Spider Arms - Adds up to 8 spider-leg like appendages from the character's back
- Adds body eyes - Eyes can be placed anywhere on the body aside from mask or patch area. They should match the default eyes but they can be fairly large, enough to cover the chest. These eyes can cover up to 50% of the design.
- Adds body mouths - Mouths are added to the design anywhere on the body aside from the mask or patch area.

⚡ Mothheart (Feyblood)
The satyr will have fur, hair, or some part of their body made entirely of butterfly, moth, or dragonfly wings and will be followed by a trail of the same insect.
Up to 50% of the design can be covered in these wings.

⚡ Fey Wings (Feyblood)
Grants the satyr wings that are butterfly, moth, dragonfly, or otherwise fairy-like in nature. Wings can be based off of a real insect, or based in fantasy. The wings can be various shapes, and wings can be transparent or semi-transparent!
These wings can be hidden at will.

⚡ Fey Halo (Feyblood)
A halo appears behind or above the satyr's head. Cannot be applied to other areas. Halo itself can be up to 25% of the character's body height.
Only one halo can be gained per application of this trait. The halo itself should only have features that correspond to the character somehow. How those features are depicted is up to you. Halos can be combinations of various things as well!
You can also go with a simple halo design that is only a simple ring or disc.
Examples:
- Flora Halo - For halos made of flora, you will need the corresponding flora traits to match the halo. If the halo is made of trees you need Canopy Flora, if the halo is made of flowers you need Flower Flora, and so on.
- Aspect or Mask Halo - For halos made of an aspect, you must have the corresponding aspect. (Ex: Fire aspect for fire halos, metal aspect for metallic halos, astral for space halos) the same would go for mask materials!
- Marking halos - To have halos made of eyes, stars, constellations, runes, ect... You need a corresponding marking trait.
- Grove Halo - a halo made of horns for stag, a winged halo for hawk, ect!

⚡ Elemental Fey (Feyblood)
Causes the satyr's aura to manifest in a visual form in some way relating to an aspect. This can sometimes be conjured at will but does not have to be. Things such as the body surrounded in smoke or clouds, hair made of fire, singed flora tips and singed fur tips, flowers made of ice, and more!
You must have the corresponding aspect to use an elemental effect. Ie: fire aspect for a fire elemental effect.
This trait can only be applied to:
- Eyes, mouth, blood, scars
- The tips of horns or tails
- Surrounding the body - Should not completely obstruct the character. Minimum of 25% coverage, but can be up to 50% of the character's body height.
- Elemental Mane - Adds a mane of elemental energy to the character.
- Up to 25% of the fur - Does not replace fur, only adds an elemental effect to it such as still-burning singed fur tips
- Replacing the hair with an elemental effect (such as flora)
- Replacing a limb with elemental effect (such as crystal)
Maximum coverage of this trait across all elements cannot exceed 75% of the design.
Each use of this trait only allows for one element. To have multiple elemental effects, multiple uses of the trait are required.
Cannot affect patches.

🌿 Serpent (Grove)
🌈 Can be added to any painted satyr by using the Serpent's Scale item.
★ When editing a character with this trait:
✦ If the trait was applied using the item it cannot be swapped to another trait, it can only be edited to a different variant within the same trait (ex: changing the tail to a different tail) or removed.
✦ If the design was created with this trait without use of an item it can be swapped to a different trait from the serpent list using an Appearance Change.

★ Serpent's Tail
The satyr's tail can sport various types of fins as well as become much thicker supposedly to aid them in swimming.
Size: Follows the rarity of the satyr's existing tail in terms of length and branch count
✅ Can be applied to one tail or multiples in the case of designs with more than one tail
✅ Tail fins are optional and can take on any look as long as they clearly appear as fins
✅ Tail fins can be placed on branches
✅ Tail can still have fur following normal fur guidelines
✅ The thicker tail is optional, the examples below show a minimum thickness for the trait
✅ Tail fins can be very slightly translucent
❌ You must pick fins, a thick tail, or both
❌ Fins cannot be entirely transparent
❌ Does not replace the tail rarity, branch count and length cannot exceed the satyr's current tail rarity
★ Serpent's Fins
Adds fins to the body of the painted satyr.
Size: Refer to examples for max size and max coverage
✅ Application can be asymmetrical in both placement and style
✅ One use of the trait allows you to place as many fins as you'd like
✅ Can be used to give the satyr fin "hair"
❌ Cannot be placed on the mask outside of areas shown
❌ Cannot be placed on the tail
❌ Cannot be placed on patches but can boarder them
❌ Cannot be entirely translucent
❌ Does not replace other traits
★ Serpent's Wings
Adds one pair of wings to the painted satyr. These wings resemble that of a dragon or sea creature. While they are usually for display or gliding through air and water, some lucky satyrs may be able to use them to fly short distances.
Size: Refer to examples for the maximum sizes of the trait. Body wings should not be larger than shown with the exception of back wings, which can be large enough to fly.
✅ Application can be asymmetrical in terms of placement and style
✅ Wings can be placed anywhere on the body or tail
✅ Can be placed on patches
✅ Wing style can be any type of dragon or fin-like wing
✅ Wings can optionally have a single wing "thumb" spike up to 1x head height andwith up to 5 branches. In addition each "finger" of the wing may also have a tiny claw half this size. Spike and wing claws should be covered in patches like horns!
❌ Cannot have patches on the wing or wing membrane
❌ Each use of the item can only apply one set of wings to the design. To have more than one set of wings it will require multiple uses of the item.

🌿 Cat (Grove)
🌈 Can be added to any painted satyr by using the Cat's Eye item.

★ Cat's Tail
The satyr's tail becomes entirely covered in fur.
Size: Follows the rarity of the satyr's existing tail
✅ Can be applied to one tail or multiples in the case of designs with more than one tail
✅ Can be entirely branchless
✅ When branches are applied they are mostly covered in fur and stick out only a little
❌ Does not replace the tail rarity, branch count and length cannot exceed the satyr's current tail rarity
★ Cat's Paws
Changes the satyr's hooves to paws, allowing them to move more silently and have a bit more traction.
Size: Should resemble examples.
✅ Application can be asymmetrical, ie: one hoof foot, one paw foot
✅ Can have short claws or retractable claws
❌ If the entire foot is not covered in patch area the patch pawpads is required
❌ Pawpad should not be visible when the entire foot is covered in patch
★ Cat's Eyes
Gives the painted satyr more eyes.
Size: Should not be any larger than regular eyes. Coverage can be anywhere on the mask
✅ One use of the item applies 1-3 eyes to the mask in a symmetrical pattern. Eyes can be any orientation.
✅ Can be applied up to 3 times for a maximum total of 9 extra eyes on the mask
✅ Added eyes do not have to match existing eyes
✅ Eyes can shut, when not open there is usually a line indiciating where they are placed. Please be sure to provide an open-eye version when submitting a design
❌ Eyes cannot be asymmetrical in placement or appearance by default, to make the eyes asymmetrical it requires the mismatched eyes trait.
❌ Added eyes cannot have any rare or mythic features by default and will require the corresponding eye item
🌿 Wolf (Grove)
🌈 Can be added to any painted satyr by using the Wolf's Fangs item.
★ When editing a character with this trait:
✦ If the trait was applied using the item it cannot be swapped to another trait, it can only be edited to a different variant within the same trait (ex: changing the appearance of the shackles) or removed.
✦ If the design was created with this trait without use of an item it can be swapped to a different trait from the wolf list using an Appearance Change.

★ Wolf's Claws
The satyr's hands and arms change to a permanently shifted state, giving them greater physical strength.
Size: Should be roughly the same size as the example, can vary with muscle tone.
✅ Application can be asymmetrical
✅ Claws can be up to twice the length of the example
✅ Paw pads are optional but should be treated the same as patches
❌ Can only be applied to the arms/hands
❌ Nails should be striped or resemble the character's patches in some way
★ Wolf's Shackles
Magic bindings originally conjured to hold something back whether it be physical, magical, or emotional. Now shattered they are a proud display of newly forged bonds, overcoming what held you back, and personal strength.
Size: Cannot be much larger/longer than examples
✅ Can be applied to the wrists, neck, or ankles
✅ Can be any color but must have a glowing area
✅ Runes are optional
✅ Chains are optional
❌ Cannot intersect or merge with other traits
❌ Must float/surround the areas it is applied to, it cannot resemble markings on the character's body
★ Wolf's Transformation
Requires grove form to be unlocked.
Allows a painted satyr to unleash their inner strength through their connection to nature. Both the shifted and non shifted form are considered canon and can be used interchangeably. When submitting a design using this trait you will have to provide a reference of the normal form and shifted form.Size: Can be taller and larger than the satyr's normal self, refer to the example below for maximum size increase. The max increase is roughly 3 heads taller.
✅ The satyr can shift at will or have a specific trigger to change
✅ While in their shifted form their mask takes on a more animal-like appearance that resembles their grove form alignment animal.
✅ Growing larger/taller/buffer is optional and this can alternatively be used to change only the mask to be more animal-like
✅ Can become even fluffier in this form with longer fur and/or longer hair
❌ All traits and markings remain the same, trait sizes only change proportionally but should not increase in rarity.
🌿 Hawk (Grove)
🌈 Can be added to any painted satyr by using the Hawk's Feather item.
★ When editing a character with this trait:
✦ If the trait was applied using the item it cannot be swapped to another trait, it can only be edited to a different variant within the same trait (ex: changing the type of feathered tail) or removed.
✦ If the design was created with this trait without use of an item it can be swapped to a different trait from the hawk list using an Appearance Change.

★ Hawk's Feathers
Painted satyr are normally covered in fur but there are a small few that sport soft feathers. Upon closer inspection the feathers have some similarities to how certain types of satyr leaf flora grows.
Size: Cannot be longer/larger than the biggest feathers in the examples. Can cover any area of the body that would otherwise have fur or hair.
✅ Application can be asymmetrical
✅ Application can be localized to a specific area or spread over the body
✅ When using this trait it can be applied to as many areas as you want
✅ Can entirely replace the hair and/or fur on the body
❌ Cannot be applied to the tail
❌ Cannot be longer/wider than the examples
❌ Cannot be applied to the mask, horns, or patch areas
★ Hawk's Tail
Changes the satyr's tail to something more feathery.
Size: Follows the design's existing tail rarity
✅ Can be applied to one or multiple tails if the satyr has more than 1 tail
✅ Can change the entire tail to feathers or apply feathers to an area of the existing tail
✅ Feathered tails can optionally fan out depending on the style you choose, please provide a reference of the fanned out version when submitting your design
❌ Does not overwrite the tail's length or branch rarity, length should still be in line with satyr's current tail rarity
★ Hawk's Wings
Adds one set of wings to the painted satyr. Very rarely there will be a satyr born with feathered wings or those who obtain them through one of Hawk's blessings. The feathers, while they are not leaves, upon close examination have faint similarities with some types of satyr flora. While most of the time the wings are for display or gliding, some lucky few are capable of flying short distances with their wings.
Size: Should remain close to examples. Back wings can be fairly large, body wings should stay close to examples shown.

✅ Can be placed on patches
✅ Back wings can have up to one wing "thumb" spike up to 1x head height and with up to 5 branches. It must be covered in patches!

🌈 Can be added to any painted satyr by using the Stag's Antler item.

✦ If the design was created with this trait without use of an item it can be swapped to a different trait from the stag list using an Appearance Change.

★ Stag's Branches
Rather than the usual branched antlers the horns, tail, or other body branches take on an style with a flattened wide shape akin to that of a moose and/or a ridged, twisted appearance.
Size: Follows the design's existing horn rarity
✅ Application can be asymmetrical
✅ Application can be added to as many branch areas as you want
✅ When applying to different areas it does not have to be the same in each area, ie: applying the moose-like look to the horns but the twist look to the tail.
❌ This trait does not replace the horns, it modifies how they grow
❌ Branch count and size should still be in line with the current horn rarity
★ Stag's Tail
Changes the painted saty'rs tail to be a cascading wave of long hair-like fur.
Size: Follows the design's existing tail rarity
✅ Can be applied to one or multiple tails if the satyr has more than 1 tail
✅ Can be styled, braided, ect
✅ Can be any texture
✅ Flora can be applied to the tail
❌ Does not overwrite the tail's length rarity, length should still be in line with satyr's current tail rarity
❌ Cannot have branches
❌ Cannot be prehensile
★ Stag's Mark
A floating mark of energy manifests between or around the horns of the painted satyr, signifying their connection to the magic flowing through the Celestial Seas.
Size: Should remain close to examples
✅ Mark should glow
✅ Can be any color, including dark colors, but must have at least 1 glowing area on it, even if it is just the outline.
❌ One use of the trait only applies one mark (similar to examples below), to have multiple marks you must use the trait multiple times. Can be applied up to 3 seperate times, each application can add a different mark.
❌ Should at least roughly resemble the examples and be clearly space/celestial themed in some way such as resembling a moon, stars, or sun. The mark can have small, simple particles around it.
❌ Cannot intersect or merge with other traits
⚡ Flora Cloak (★Rare)
🌈 Can be applied using a Rare Trait Potion.
🌈 Can be applied using a Flora Cloak Treat.Trait: Adds a small number of large leaves or mushroom webbing that naturally grow on the painted satyr.
Size: Minimum length is 25% body length, maximum is 1x body length from top of head to the ground.✅ Can grow from the back, shoulders, hips, and on the back above the tail. You can choose all placements or just specific ones.
✅ Can be any color and any shape, real or fantasy as long as it resembles leaves or mushroom webbing. Different placements don't have to match.
✅ Can be layered, ex: 2-3 layers of large leaves.
✅ Flora can be lightly tattered around the edges❌Cannot appear as bushes of leaves/multiple tiny layered leaves
❌ Cannot grow from the tail/look like a tail and cannot grow from wings or look like wings
❌ This trait does not replace fur or hair and should be clearly separate flora growing on the character
⚡ Fruit Flora (★Rare)
🌈 Can be applied using a Rare Trait Potion.
🌈 Can be applied using a Fruity Frozen Yogurt item.Trait: Adds fruits that naturally grow on the painted satyr.
Size: Satyr's flora can cover up to 50% of the design, this is shared between: leaves, flowers, mushrooms, fruit, and sea flora. The maximum size of an individual plant should not be much larger than the example, about 50% head height.✅ Can grow from the body, hair, tail, horns, and patch areas
✅ Can be any color and any shape, real or fantasy as long as it looks like a fruit. Pinecones and vegetables are also okay.
✅ Can be multiple different fruit types, and can combine with/grow from other flora types if the character also has those. (ex: growing on vines)❌ Cannot grow from the eyes, mouth, inner ear, or mask.
❌ Does not create 'holes' in the character, only grows on the outside of the character
❌ This trait does not replace fur or hair and should be clearly separate plants growing on the character
⚡ Tail Thorns (★Mythic)
This trait is a WIP! While it is available for use, please be aware that designs submitted are more likely to be rejected if they use this trait due to lack of up to date reference material.
🌈 Can be applied to a browbird with a Mythic Trait Potion
Trait: Adds small to moderate spines to the character's tail
Size: Spikes can be placed on up to 50% of the tail surface area and can be up to 1.5x head height.
🌀 Can be affected by: ➕Default Horn Texture ⚡Horn Engraving ⚡Sparkles ⚡Reflective Accents ⚡Glowing Markings ⚡Aspect Mastery: Cycle ⚡Color Shifting Markings ⚡Glowing Extras ⚡Shattered
✅ Coverage can be split up however you'd like as long as the character's movement isn't drastically hindered/they aren't always injuring themself on their own spines.

✅ Can be applied to all tails the character has or just specific ones
✅ For revenant browbirds: Can be applied to exposed bone tails

⚡Silky Antennae (★Uncommon)
🌈 This is an ITEM ONLY trait and cannot be obtained with a normal trait potion. Can only be applied to a browbird, kitbull, or painted satyr using a Silky Sweet .
Trait: Unique antenna variant that resembles short moth antennae with clustered together feathers antennae.
Size: Must have at least 3 segments at minimum. Maximum size is twice the character's head height.✅ Can be placed anywhere on the head
✅ Application must be symmetrical in placement but can be asymmetrical in style/color/sizing, you may also have 1 side missing an antennae.❌ Does not replace other traits
❌ Each use of the item only adds one set of antennae, to have multiple sets you will need multiple items
❌ Cannot be placed anywhere but the head
⚡Space Antennae (★Uncommon)
🌈 This is an ITEM ONLY trait and cannot be obtained with a normal trait potion. Can only be applied to a browbird, kitbull, or painted satyr using a Space Jam.
Trait: Unique antenna variant that resembles long antennae made out of chained together shapes.
Size: Must have at least 3 segments at minimum. Maximum size is 100% of the character's main body length.✅ Can be placed anywhere on the head
✅ Application must be symmetrical in placement but can be asymmetrical in style/color/sizing, you may also have 1 side missing an antennae.
✅ Possible styles include any simple shape such as: diamond, twinkle, star, heart, triangle❌ Does not replace other traits
❌ Each use of the item only adds one set of antennae, to have multiple sets you will need multiple items
❌ Cannot be placed anywhere but the head
⚡ Plate Scales (★Mythic)
🌈 Can be applied to a browbird using a Mythic Trait Potion
🌈 Can also be applied to a browbird using a Grilled Geck
➕ Can be applied to an Astrean browbird as a free trait.Trait: Adds large hard, but flextible protective plate scales to the front of the character
Size: Max coverage can cover the entire front neck, chest, and belly of the character AND the underside of the tail. Scale size can be fairly large like the examples.✅ Can be applied to the chest/belly area on the front of the character, the underside of the tail, or both. Can also be applied to the front of the neck but cannot be ONLY on the neck.
✅ Can be 1 single line of larger ventral scales or a single main line with 1 small connecting layer on either side like example 2
✅ Can blend into the fur and only be distinguished by lines or can be a clearly separated out layer of scales, stylization up to you!
✅ Can be patchy or have scattered coverage across the coverage area and does not need to be all connected. Such as just on the chest + half the tail.
✅ Can be asymmetrical, have scratches and chipped edges
✅ Can be lightly shiny or glossy
✅ Can be slightly raised and layered over each other but should not jut out far from the chest.❌ Scales cannot be small, use regular Scales instead. Plate scales must have the main layer of large scales
❌ Cannot be applied to tails that are entirely made of fur/hair/feathers!
❌ Cannot exceed the coverage area or wrap around parts of the body, tail, or neck. Can only be in the locations shown in the examples.
❌ This trait can only be applied once. You can do maximum coverage with only a single application.
❌ Should NOT look like bone plating or armor, must clearly be scales. Cannot heavily resemble other traits ie: talonscale, regular scales, aspect mastery traits, spikes, without the corresponding trait also present.
➕ ASTREAN Plate Scales
➕ Can be applied to an Astrean browbird as a free trait. This is a special astrean variant of the trait.
Trait: Adds large hard, but flextible protective plate scales to the character's body
Size: Max coverage can cover ALL possible areas✅ Can be applied to:
- Front of the body from the neck to legs
- Back of the body from the neck to the base of tail

✅ Can be 1 single line of larger ventral scales or a single main line with 1 small connecting layer on either side as shown below
✅ Can blend into the fur and only be distinguished by lines or can be a clearly separated out layer of scales, stylization up to you!
✅ Can be patchy or have scattered coverage across the coverage area and does not need to be all connected. Such as just on the chest + half the tail.
✅ Can be asymmetrical, have scratches and chipped edges
✅ Can be lightly shiny or glossy
✅ Can be slightly raised and layered over each other but should not jut out far from the chest.❌ Cannot ONLY be applied to the neck
❌ Cannot be cracked or shattered/broken/missing large chunks
❌ Scales cannot be small, use regular Scales instead. Plate scales must have the main layer of large scales
❌ Cannot be applied to tails that are entirely made of fur/hair/feathers!
❌ Cannot exceed the coverage area or wrap around parts of the body. Can only be in the locations shown in the examples.
❌ This trait can only be applied once. You can do maximum coverage with only a single application.
❌ Should NOT look like bone plating or armor, must clearly be scales. Cannot heavily resemble other traits ie: talonscale, regular scales, aspect mastery traits, spikes, without the corresponding trait also present.
