β WHEN PAIRED WITH AN EGG: you may create a rare companion with +1 special pet trait
β WHEN USED ON AN EXISTING COMPANION: Upgrades it to rare, allowing you to optionally draw it's main art offbase and add/edit anatomy AND +1 special pet trait.
β WHEN USED ON A COMPANION THAT IS ALREADY RARE: It only adds 1 special trait! You can submit an art update at the same time or simply modify the existing art.
β Cannot be used on unique companions
β Cannot be used on mounts
β Does not change your companion's species. You must upgrade into the rare version of the SAME SPECIES.
β When applied to an existing companion the colors and markings should remain the nearly identical but can be tweaked slightly to fit the new form, this item does not allow heavy marking/color edits to the original design!

β USING THIS ITEM ONLY APPLIES ONE OF THE LISTED TRAITS! If you'd like to apply multiple you will need multiple copies of the item.
β When creating an offbase companion you can draw them in any pose and optionally add extra features
β You can add wings, extra tails, extra eyes, extra limbs, horns, spines, and so on as long as the anatomy of the species remains overall the same! (Note: extra sets of limbs must be ones already present in the species' anatomy. For example you may add additional arms to an aprico, but you cannot add back legs!)
β You can MODIFY companion anatomy, such as changing tail type, more or less fur, larger teeth and claws, eyes, and so on! As long as the base body, head, and existing limb anatomy stay mostly the same. Overall you cannot change the base body plan to make an entirely different animal, but you can add to it and tweak what is there.
β They can have elemental effects, elemental trails, ect but cannot be entirely made of an element.
β ALL FINAL COMPANIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED AT THE EXACT 450X450 SIZE.

Curiously enough, the fruit is completely seedless, and botanists have not discovered a way of moving the trees from their original locations while preserving the life of the plant. There are a select few growing on the ley lines running through Harara, though they are all officially owned by Heru. Stealing is strictly forbidden, but if you were to get your hands on a starfruit through unspoken means, feeding it to a beloved pet may yield unexpected results.
