Kalen is a spunky browbird with a passion for loud music and playing with fire. He frequently tours as a the lead guitarist and clean vocalist of a metalcore band alongside his significant other, Rico, who complements Kalen's vocals with his own growls and guttural screams. They are an inseparable pair and are often seen getting up to all sorts of mischief together.

He was a loner as a teen, often resorting to petty crime to survive in his hometown. After joining the band and hitting the road, he flourished, now surrounding himself with his found family of fellow misfits. He now lives to enjoy life to the fullest and subvert expectations.
