It’s possible. It’s possible. It still doesn’t feel real. There were casualties in the experiments, yes, but they were not in vain! It’s all worth it to know that this is possible. If you’re reading this, our research facility has been disbanded. There is no way that these logs will ever become declassified. Anyone who comes across these will only do so by committing to the same path I committed to all those years ago — the path of a sinner whose only purpose is to search for the truth. And I’ve found it, or at least the first step.
Our research is controversial. It’s taboo. But if we had known then what we know now, don’t you think it could have gone differently? Reverse engineering the transformation was only one piece of the puzzle. I see this for what it truly is now, and it’s for that reason that I am no longer safe. I’ll be long gone by the time ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. But ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇? I can only hope that someone finds these logs and understands their significance, because if not, countless lives will be lost. Far more than in our measly experiments. Perhaps even far more than the Blight or the War.
