So you’ve chosen the (obviously) most handsome kitbull in the game to romance. First of all, incredible taste: his mysterious demeanor is sooooo alluring in the beginning, I understand. Second of all, buckle down and get ready for all the steps you need to get to romancing this charming fella! Oh, and of course, spoilers ahead.

DIALOGUE OPTIONS

Here’s the thing: He’s a former knight, right? Sir Dauntless used to adventure all throughout the Celestial Seas, cutting down monsters, protecting villages, saving princesses, you know the drill. And with the way he behaves in his initial introduction, a bit cold and standoffish, you might assume leaning towards the edgier, cooler dialogue options is the best way to earn support points with him. Well… Think again.

For as smooth as he seems, he isn’t really used to such direct kindnesses. So, picking the more genuine, sweet dialogue options will definitely help you win him over. Who’d have thought?

LOST ITEMS

Each character in Celestial Seas™ has 3 lost items, all of which are unique to that character. Giving these back to the characters gives you extra support points, which will really start to stack up and open up more of the characters’ stories. For Sir Dauntless, his lost items are the following:

Rusted Sword - A shortsword with patches of rust on it, sheathed in a simple leather scabbard with an initial engraved on it: D. This item might belong to someone who’s fond of old weapons.

• LOCATION: SNOWSTAR ARMORY (CLEARANCE SECTION)

Worn Scarf - A muted red scarf that’s definitely seen a lot of love over the years. The fabric is a little stretchy, but you can tell that it’s comfortable. This item might belong to someone who spends a lot of time sparring.

• LOCATION: ALDEBAST SPARRING GROUNDS

Nail Filer - A small metal filer, though it’s pretty heavy duty… This item might belong to someone with long claws.

• LOCATION: SNOWSTAR VILLAGE COMPANION PARK

NOTES

If you get all 3 lost items to him before the Snowball Fight cutscene about halfway through the game (where you can pick up a Starleaf Cloak afterwards), there’s a rare chance you’ll see his cherubun and dracor in the backgrounds of some scenes! It’s almost as though they are watching the pair of you closely to make sure you’re treating Sir Dauntless right.

Find all of these and you’ll be well on your way to the finish line!
