My dearest Gwyndolin,

Though our reunion has been shorter than the time either of us spent away from the rest of the world, it has seemed an eternity at your side. I know there are things about yourself that you fear. I know you struggle to be so… Forward. I know you hate that I use my aspects so recklessly to suppress all that ails you.

That being said… I do not regret it. Every ounce of magic I use for you is one used for a good cause. Whatever little I can do to help you now is a genuine desire of mine, not a pity for the circumstances that plague you.

You are no monster. Nor do I view you as a prince, forced to uphold the values of a loveless father upon your kingdom. You are just as I call you: Gwyndolin, the beautiful man with a generous heart far greater than could ever be fathomed.

And thus, in celebration of this rare occasion, I thought it relevant to tell you so… Perhaps in words more eloquent than I am usually capable of muttering out when you mutter such sweet absurdities to me. 

You are that which is closest to my heart. I hope you don’t ever feel that you are a burden at my side.
