Additional Tail Customization.
Adds 1-2 medium to large pair of wings to the tail.

🌈 Can be added to a hiros browbird with an Uncommon Trait Potion

✅ Can be added to any tail type.
✅ Can be placed anywhere on the tail.
✅ Wings should be symmetrical, but your character can be missing one on one side.
✅ This trait can be applied for free if you have an uncommon or above tail on your hiros.

❌ This trait does not stack with other tail wing traits and will be replaced with the application of other tail wings or winged tails.

Uncommon Hiros Tail (★Uncommon)

Species: Browbird (Hiros / Half-Hiros subtype)
❗ This trait is restricted to hiros/half-hiros subtype browirds only!

🌈 Can be added to a Hiros / Half-Hiros browbird with an Uncommon Trait Potion.


Trait: Adds feathers to a browbird's tail or replaces the browbird's tail with moderate length feathers.
Size: Can be long enough to reach the feet.

✅ Can be any style of feathers
✅ Can fold up/fan out like a peacock's tail
✅ Can be a mix of fur and feathers

❌ Cannot go past the ankles unless it is a peacock style tail.
❌ Cannot look like multiple tails

HIROS UNCOMMON TAIL LENGTH EXCEPTIONS

🔸 The maximum length for certain hiros uncommon tails that meet this exception are shown below:

Peacock tails and feathered raptor tails can be a little bit longer than 1x body length. 

This length does not include horns or crest, only the body and head.

Adds up to 10 sets of amount of small, medium, or large wings to the tail.

🌈 Can be added with a Rare Trait Potion

✅ Can be added to any tail type.
✅ Can be placed anywhere on the tail, but placements should follow a straight line.
✅ Wings can be different sizes.
✅ This trait can be applied for free if you have a rare or above tail.

❌ This trait does not stack with other tail wing traits and will be replaced with the application of other tail wings or winged tails.

Phoenix Tail (Ancient)

Category: Tail
Species: Browbird (Ancient subtype)

Ancient tail style.
These tails are often made of very large, long feathers and trailing thin feathers. They are usually very detailed and have many parts to them. 

🔸 Adding this trait requires the browbird to be an ancient and the use of one ancient trait.

❌ This trait cannot have split tail, x2 tails, or x3 tails applied to it and does not stack with that trait. It can have multiple "tails" by default.

🔸 This tail can be up to 3x the browbird's body length.

⚡ Tail Thorns

⚡ Tail Thorns (★Mythic)

Category: Tail
Species: Browbird

🌈 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: Adds hard thorns to a browbird's tail
Size: Thorns can be up to 25% body height


✅ Can be placed in rows or asymmetrical
✅ Can be any color and have markings
✅ Can be straight or curved and mix different styles
✅ Can have simple non-element textures, carvings, and breaks without any extra traits
✅ Can be stacked with and place on other traits that can be applied to tails such as tail holes, multiple tails, plate scales, tail wings
✅ Reflective accents can make thorns entirely covered in solid metal texture

❌ Thorns should have at least a little space between them and can't be attached to each other or branching.
❌ Cannot grow fur or feathers
❌ Cannot be placed tails made entirely of hair/feathers or grow from trailing feathers
❌ Can't be placed on the tip to give the impression of a razor tail, or used to resemble a tail made of bone if not used on a revenant.
❌ Should stick out somewhat, cannot lie entirely flat to wrap around the tail

Sea Tail

Sea Tail (Astrean)

Category: Tail
Species: Browbird (Astrean subtype)

🌈 Can be applied to an Astrean browbird using a Chromatic Conch.

Trait: Allows the tail to be shark-shaped, have fins, be 1 large betta fish tail, or be a tentacle
Size: 1.5x body length from top of head to the ground, this includes tufted tail tips. Long fur attached to the length of the tail can also be up to 1.5x body length. Any fins attached to the tail can individually be up to 50% body length.

✅ Can be a fish or sea creature themed tail or a mix of different tail styles as long as it has at least 1 astrean-exclusive tail feature. (See examples below)
✅ Can have short or long fur, be smooth furless, slightly glossy, and have scales if the character also has scales.
✅ Tail can have scars, nicks, small piercings, and tattering but cannot have large holes.
✅ Tail can be damaged or cropped but cannot be leaking or show any bone
✅ Tail can be prehensile
✅ FISH FINS ONLY can be slightly translucent
✅ Can be stacked with these traits if the design also has them:

  • MYTHIC: tail length, branching tail, x3+ tails, thorned tail
  • RARE: x2 tails, razor tail tip
  • UNCOMMON : split tail, shaped tail tip
  • COMMON: spade tail tip

❌ REPLACES the base tail.
❌ Fins should not resemble spikes, blades, wings, feathers, or plants
❌ Fins themselves can't have fur, only the base tail
❌ Fins can't be fully transparent, they should still have some color and opacity to them
❌ Fins cannot fully wrap around the tail to create a 'cone' shape

Common Branch Tail

Common Branch Tail (★Common)

Category: Tail
Species: Painted Satyr

This trait can be applied for free to any painted satyr MYO slot.
☑️ If you would like to change how your common tail looks or change your existing tail to common you can do so at the salon with 1 appearance change.


Trait: A single thin tail in the common style with up to 5 branches.
Size: A branch tail with patches can be up to x1 body length. If the tail is entirely fluffy and has no visible branches and no visible patches it can be halfway to the knees.

✅ You are not limited to the examples shown, feel free to experiment with different features!
✅ Tail can be split and asymmetrical
✅ Branch tips can be different shapes such as: bulb, squared, rounded point, docked
✅ Branches can grow from other branches
✅ Tail tip can be spaded or shaped
✅ Can have no tail!
✅ Can have a short deer or tufted tail with or without branches
✅ Tail can be docked or broken

🔸 At least 50% of the main tail should be covered in patch area

❌ Tails with no visible branches or patch area can not be longer than halfway to the knees
❌ Tail fur cannot be used to increase length past the max length
❌ Thickness of the base tail should be fairly thin, close to examples
❌ Branches should not look like thorns at default, the sharpest they can be is shown below. To have sharp thorn branches it requires the briarthorn trait.

These tails can be up to 2.5x the satyr's body height.

⚡Tail Holes

⚡Tail Holes (★Uncommon)

Category: Tail

🌈 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: 1-3 small separate holes pierced through the tail (3 max per tail)
Size: Holes are small, roughly the size of the character's eye.


✅ Can be any simple basic shape (ex: circle, rectangle, triagle, heart, star, diamond, etc)
✅ Other tail modifying traits can interact with holes
✅ Holes can have small accessories like jewelry, piercings, string, nails, ribbons, objects etc.

🔸 For MASTERLIST ART: Guidelines for objects in tails

  • Any objects are small and cannot look like traits the character does not have. Ex: Piercings that can't be disguinquished from thorned tail
  • Objects cannot be weapons (knives, swords, etc)
  • They do not have elemental or magical effects to make the tail appear elemental/dripping/bleeding/burning/glowing or filled with liquid in some way.
  • Object inserts are removeable and optional/changeable in prompts

❌ Must be a hole going fully through the tail from one side to the other and make a complete shape through both sides. Cannot only partially go through or be broken up by the edges of the tail
❌ Can only be placed on the thinnest part of the tail, usually the last 10%-30% of the tail depending on length and thickness.
❌ This trait is only regular holes from one end to the other, it is not partial chunks taken out, cracks, carvings, breaks, hollowed out horns, or looping/connecting horns.
❌ Can only be applied to tails with thin fur, tail patches, or shaped tail tips

Tailless (★Uncommon)

🌈 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: Entirely removes all tails
Size: Only affects tails


✅ The browbird is entirely tailless, no tail is visible!

❌ Replaces common, uncommon, rare, mythic, or subtype-specific tails. Cannot stack with any traits that are only applied to tails.

Delicate Tail

Delicate Tail (★Uncommon)

Category: Tail
🌈 This is an ITEM ONLY [limited] trait and cannot be obtained with an Uncommon trait potion, grant, trait purchases, or MYO traits. Can only be applied to a browbird or painted satyr using the specific trait item.

🌈 APPLIED WITH:

  • Delicate Breakfast - any species!

Trait: A very thin, whisker-like tail made of prehensile feathered fur lined with short whiskers
Size: 1.5x Body height for bipedal species / 2x body length for quad kitbulls. Whiskers along the tail must be short!

NOTE: For the antennae version of this trait see Delicate Antennae


✅ Must have whiskers on at least 50% of the tail
✅ Can have a tufted, feather, or whisker tip
✅ Can stack with these traits if also present: multiple tails, mythic tail length, reflective accents (can coat the entire tail), leaf and flower flora can grow from it, can be coated /affected with elemental traits but not replaced by them

❌ Replaces the tail! The tail must be very thin and look like this specific style.
❌ Tail whiskers are thin and made entirely of fur/hair
❌ Not affected by: normal tail styles (unless multiple tails), tail thorns, razor tail tip, spade tip, tail patches, briarthorn, tail holes, tail wings, scales
❌ Cannot resemble: insect tail, leaves, skeletal tail, thorned tail, or a satyr branched tail.

Common Patches

Common Patches (★Common)

Category: Patches
Species: Painted Satyr

✅ This trait can be applied for free to all newly created designs.
✅ If you would like to change how your common patches look or change your existing patches to common you can do so at the salon with 1 appearance change.

Patch traits stack and only count as 1 trait total!

Trait: Common satyr patches.
Size: This trait can cover up to 30% of the design excluding required areas. Patches can be any size as long as the total patch coverage does not exceed 30%. The minimum coverage is shown below.

✅ MUST be on the horns, hooves, and at least half the tail.
✅ Can be placed anywhere on the main body
✅ Can take on any simple, symmetrical shape
✅ Can be any color
✅ Can have small flecks
✅ Patches do not all have to be the same color
✅ Stripes can be slightly thicker or thinner than those shown but should be somewhat consistent

❌ Cannot be asymmetrical in shape and placement
❌ Cannot have patterns
❌ Cannot be placed on the mask, ears, tongue, hair, or flora
❌ Stripe shape on common patches should resemble those shown
❌ Common patch stripes cannot be completely random colors

Uncommon Patches

Uncommon Patches (★Uncommon)

Category: Patches
Species: Painted Satyr

🌈 This trait can be applied to exisiting and newly created designs with an Uncommon Trait Potion.
✅ If you currently have uncommon patches and would like to change their look or add available uncommon features to them you can do so at the salon with 1 appearance change.

Patch traits stack and only count as 1 trait total! Uncommon patches have access to all common patch features. As long as you have 1 uncommon patch feature the entire trait is uncommon.

Trait: Uncommon satyr patches. 
Size: This trait can cover up to 60% of the design excluding required areas. Patches can be any size as long as the total patch coverage does not exceed 60%. The minimum coverage is shown below.

✅ MUST be on at least the horns, hooves, and at least half the tail.
✅ Can be asymmetrical
✅ Can be placed anywhere on the main body
✅ Can take on any simple, symmetrical or asymmetrical shape
✅ Can have small flecks and simple patterns
✅ Patches do not all have to be the same color
✅  Colors can be random, splotchy, and uneven

❌ Cannot be placed on the mask, ears, tongue, hair, or flora
❌ Stripe shape on uncommon patches should resemble those shown

Rare Patches

Rare Patches (★Rare)

🌈 This trait can be applied with a Rare Trait Potion.


Trait: Rare satyr patches. 
Size: 90% total design coverage (including tail).

✅ MUST be on at least the horns, hooves, and at least half the tail.
✅ Can be asymmetrical
✅ Can be placed anywhere on the body or mask
✅ Can take on any complex or partially broken up shape as long as it is a "stripe" in some way
✅ Can have small flecks and simple patterns
✅ Patches do not all have to be the same color
✅  Colors can be random, splotchy, and uneven
✅  Stripes can be any type of stripe as long as it reads as a stripe! You can mix 'n match alternate stripe patterns.

🔸 Patches are 1 rarity total. If you have rare patches you have access to all common and uncommon patch features!

❌ Cannot entirely cover the mask or be placed on the hair, flora, feathers, wings, eyes
❌ Stripes cannot be entirely removed. Regardless of stripe shape they must still form some complete "rings" around the patches in some way.

🌈 This is an ITEM ONLY [limited] trait and cannot be obtained with a Mythic trait potion, grant, trait purchases, or MYO traits. Can only be applied to a painted satyr using a Stripeless Candycane.

🌈 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: Patch areas without any stripes!
Size: Must affect at least one patch area.

✅ Can affect all patch areas or just specific ones
✅ It can be used with textured patches allowed by specific mask materials to create solid areas of that material only if that material has patch modifying features that can affect the entire patch (ex: wood texture patches for wood mask, metal texture patches for metal mask)
✅ Any non-stripe marking is allowed. Rare markings will still require their respective traits!

❌ Does not automatically grant other patch traits or increase patch coverage, this feature is applied separately!
❌ Can't make patches entirely out of ice, crystal, or other elements as those materials do not affect the entire patch!

Stripeless patches

🔮 +1 Horn Set

Species: Kitbull

🔮 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: Adds 1 set of horns to the kitbull's head
Size: 2x head height


1 Horn set means:

  • One set of horns (2 horns total)
  • One unicorn horn
  • One horn on one side of the head

✅ You can apply this trait multiple times using multiple mutations! Up to a max of 3x horn sets
✅ Any type of horn is OK, sharp, round, branched, curved, etc
✅ Horns can be: any pattern, spiraled, branched, ridged, any color, mismatched, chipped, scrached, branched, and have holes
✅ Horns can be connected to each other. Connected horns are counted per horn base connected to the head - each base is x1 horn

❌ For broken horns or horn carvings you can use the respective mutations!
❌ Can only be placed on the forehead or the top, sides, or back of the head. Can't grow from other spots, the ears, eyes, where a mouth would be.
❌ Should not resemble non-horn texture like metal, wood, scales, etc without applying other modifier traits

🔮 Huge Tail

🔮 APPLIED WITH:

Trait: Makes the kitbull's tail super long! Double the normal allowed length.
Size: 

  • 4x body length if standing quadruped, or 2x body height if bipedal
  • LONGBULLS - 3x body length
  • TRUBULLS - 2x body height

✅ Can apply to any tail style unless otherwise specified
✅ Can also make the tail much thicker and fluffier than normal, but should not exceed the thickness of the character's body. Fluff can extend further than body thickness.

❌ Must clearly still look like a tail, cannot give the impression of a longer body!
❌ Cannot be stacked to further increase length
❌ Only lengthens the tail, does not add other traits or affect tailless kitbulls.
