Crest Particle Effects
Crest particles are a small, optional trait and can be added to the crest.
These particles are made entirely of magic and would not be something you could "move" or "pick up". The effects will usually sit on or float around with the crest and follow its flow. If one were to fall too far away from the crest, it would fade away.✅ Existing Designs: Particle effects can be added to any browbird's crest at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket if they meet the criteria.✅ MYO Designing: When designing a new character, you are able to use these effects for free if your design meets the criteria.✅ Limitations:
☑️ Crest particles can be added so long as your character meets the corresponding aspect criteria. For example, browbirds with the Wood aspect may add the leaf and petal effects, but cannot have the rune effects if they do not have the Arcane aspect.
☑️ Certain particles can be added for free regardless of aspects!
☑️ Colors do not need to match the examples.
☑️ You are not limited to how many different particle effect types you can use, such as both butterflies AND eyes. However, the clusters are not additive, and cannot crowd a crest with every type of particle. They remain just as spaced out and sparse as they would with a single type.
☑️ Crest particles must remain small and simplistic in shape, and should flow with or around the crest.
❌ Should not interact or intersect with other traits.
❌ Should not be used to resemble traits a character doesn't have (ex: using runes to resemble mythic crests, or being so spaced out they look like the wisp trait). They should not resemble a second crest.
❌ Placement should be at least somewhat random-looking and not form obvious lines or clear shapes, such as circles.
❌ The number of particles cannot be very low, such as one or two of a particle. It must be a good few.
❌ Particles must follow the color crest guidlines (i.e. you cannot have mythic colored particles, such as black, unless your crest is mythic, etc)

Common Horns (★Common)
☑️ Common traits are free to apply to MYOs. You can swap to a common trait on an existing design using an Appearance Change.
Trait: A single pair of simple horns OR a single unicorn horn placed on the top of the head
Size: Max x1 head height
✅ Can be as thin or thick as the examples
✅ Can be very small
✅ Pointed and rounded tips are okay
✅ Can have very small nicks and divots, these are OK to apply asymmetrically!
✅ Can have scratches and various horn textures (shown below)❌ Cannot be stacked
❌ Can only be placed on the top of the head like the examples show
❌ Cannot have multiple branches or prongs, only a very small divot in the tip at most!
❌ Cannot be engraved, broken, asymmetrical/mismatched, thorned, doubled, or have other modifiers without the appropriate trait modifiers
❌ Unicorn horn cannot be off-center
❌ Horns cannot be entirely obscured by hair regardless of size, please make sure they are showing at least a little in the masterlist art!

Horn Texture
If applying a horn texture you must stick close to what is shown in the examples and it should be applied to both horns (without the mismatched horn trait). Scratches can be asymmetrical. Horn textures can be applied to higher rarity horns for free!
Hiros Common Feather Tail (★Common)

Trait: Replaces the browbird's tail with feathers
Size: Can be up to knee length✅ Can be any style of feathers
✅ Does not need to be symmetrical
✅ Can flare out/fold up like certain bird tails
✅ Can be a mix of fur and feathers
✅ Can be long distict feathers or short clustered feathers❌ Cannot go past the knees
❌ Cannot look like multiple tails

Trait: Adds 1 small pair of feathered wings to the browbird's tail.
Size: Wings should be very small.✅ Can be applied to any tail type.
✅ Can be applied anywhere on the tail
✅ Wings should be symmetrical in placement, but you can have 1 wing missing.
✅ Feathers/wing can be tattered but not gorey/mangled by default❌ This trait does not stack with other tail wing traits.
❌ This trait cannot be applied multiple times for multiple wing sets.
Common Tail (★Common)

☑️ If your existing browbird design does not have this trait it can be added with an Appearance Change at the Salon.
Trait: A single short tail.
Size: Can be anywhere from a tiny nub to knee-length at default. Certain specific styles can be slightly longer than knee length, see examples below.✅ You are not limited to the examples shown and can use any type of tail as long as it fits into the general idea portrated by the trait.
✅ Common Tails can optionally have a single, simple spaded tip! Spade tips should be a 3 POINT MAX spade (trianglular shaped) like the examples.❌ Fluff amount/tail thickness should not be more than the tails shown shown in examples.
❌ This trait cannot be applied multiple times for multiple tails.
❌ Tail fur cannot be used to increase length passed the max length.

These specific tail types can be longer than knee length and instead can lightly touch the ground. If you want a common tail of this length you must use one of these options or something very similar to these!

Trait: Adds short feathers to the browbird's body
Size: Short. Close in size to short head feathers.✅ Can be applied anywhere on the body of the design.
✅ Can be asymmetrical
✅ Can be a mix of fur and feathers
✅ Feathers can be tattered
❌ Feathers cannot be long/trailing, they should be short standard feathers
❌ Should not resemble scales
➕Flare (★Common)
➕ This trait can be applied for free to any browbird MYO slot.
☑️ If your existing design does not have this trait it can be added with an Appearance Change at the Salon.
Trait: Adds short feathers, clumped whiskers, or a shape layered over a browbird's nose stripe
Size: Max size 50% head height for forehead/nose placement✅ Can be feathers or fur
✅ Whiskers are optional, and can have tiny feathers or orbs at the end
✅ Can also have very tiny feathers under the eyes
✅ Can be asymmetrical❌ Feathers and fur only, shouldn't resemble scales
❌ Max length feathers should only stick upwards, cannot cover the eyes
❌ Does not modify nose anatomy, nose and nose stripe should still be visible
Short Head Feathers (★Common)
Adds feathers to the sides or back of the browbird's head.
Up to 6 of these feathers can be present at one time.
The feathers should not be more than 1.5x the height of the browbird's head.
The feathers can be as thick or thin as the examples shown.
Feathers can have all sorts of colors and patterns.
Hiros Wing Ears (★Common)

Trait: Replaces the browbird's ears with small feathered wings
Size: Cannot be bigger than the examples shown below.✅ You can change both ears or have 1 wing ear and 1 standard ear
✅ Can be asymmetrical in shape/style
✅ You may apply it asymmetrically to have one wing ear and one regular ear
✅ Feathers/wing can be tattered but not gorey/mangled by default
✅ Wing ears can be folded, flare out, and even cover the character's eyes. If eyes are covered please provide an eye reference.❌ This trait does not apply extra ears/face wings and cannot be applied multiple times to apply more ears
Hiros Wing Brows (★Common)
❗ This trait is restricted to hiros/half-hiros subtype browirds only!
➕ This trait can be applied for free to a hiros/half-hiros browbird MYO slot.
☑️ If your existing hiros/half-hiros browbird design does not have this trait it can be added with an Appearance Change at the Salon.
Trait: Replaces the browbird's eyebrows with small feathered wings
Size: Cannot be bigger than the examples shown below.✅ You can change both brows or have 1 wing brow and 1 standard brow
✅ Can be asymmetrical in shape/style
✅ Feathers/wing can be tattered but not gorey/mangled by default
✅ Wing brows can be posted in many different ways, they can move!❌ This trait cannot be applied multiple times to apply more wing brows
❌ This trait will replace the standard brows
Hiros Small Face Wings (★Common)

Trait: Adds a small set of the wings to the sides of the character's face.
Size: Cannot be bigger than the example shown below.✅ You can change both brows or have 1 wing brow and 1 standard brow
✅ Can be asymmetrical in shape/style/placement
✅ Feathers/wing can be tattered but not gorey/mangled by default
✅ They can cover a characters eyes, if eyes are covered you must provide an eye reference❌ This trait cannot be applied multiple times to apply more face wings
❌ Must only be placed in front of the ears on the sides of the head
Hiros Wing Spike (★Common)
❗ This trait is restricted to hiros/half-hiros subtype browirds only!
➕ This trait can be applied for free to a hiros/half-hiros browbird MYO slot.
☑️ If your existing hiros/half-hiros browbird design does not have this trait it can be added with an Appearance Change at the Salon.
Trait: Adds a spike to the last joint of the wings on a hiros browbird. Ie: where the thumb would be.
Size: Should be small.✅ Can be asymmetrical in shape/style/placement
✅ Can be placed on any/all wings on the design.
✅ Can be curved.
✅ Can have extra smaller spikes added to the main spike if you have the rosethorn trait.❌ Cannot be made out of metal/gemstone/other elemental materials by default unless you have the trait required for it. Shouldn't be metallic/super shiny either.
❌ Cannot be placed anywhere on the wing other than the "thumb" area.
❌ Cannot be applied multiple time to add more spikes to a single wing. Each wing can have a maximum of 1-3 spikes and you only need to apply this trait once to add it to as many wings on the design as you want.
❌ Does not add an extra finger to the wing
➕ Spur (★Common)

Size: Can be about 1x - 1.5x toe length, proportional to the character. Check examples for general size range.✅ Application can be asymmetrical
✅ Can be sharp or rounded point
✅ Can be curved or straight.
✅ Short thorn or long spike are both OK❌ Can only be applied to the back of the foot anywhere from the ankle to right above the back toe
❌ One spur max per foot
❌ Straight or curved only, can't loop in on itself or create full crecent/sicle/arc shapes
