Common crest effects.
✅ Existing Designs: Common effects can be added to any browbird's crest at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket.
✅ MYO Designing: When designing a new character, you are able to use these effects for free.
✅ Limitations: You are not limited on how many different effects you can use, however each effect can only be applied one time per crest shape/effect.
Dual toned crests are made up of two separate color groups, such as blue and orange like the example. They can be twisted, gradiented, or otherwised mixed together however you'd like! Browbirds who posses a dual toned crest are more likely to have an easier time learning their second magical aspect in their early adulthood!
🔸 The crest has up to two distinct colors present on it.Turnways crests are simply the crest turned upside down! Those with the turnways crest likely had a more difficult time learning their second aspect when it first began to appear. They are said to be the sorts who get lost easily, and are often people who think outside the box.
🔸 Flips the entire crest or part of the crest upside down.
Crest Particle Effects
Crest particles are a small, optional trait and can be added to the crest.
These particles are made entirely of magic and would not be something you could "move" or "pick up". The effects will usually sit on or float around with the crest and follow its flow. If one were to fall too far away from the crest, it would fade away.✅ Existing Designs: Particle effects can be added to any browbird's crest at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket if they meet the criteria.✅ MYO Designing: When designing a new character, you are able to use these effects for free if your design meets the criteria.✅ Limitations:
☑️ Crest particles can be added so long as your character meets the corresponding aspect criteria. For example, browbirds with the Wood aspect may add the leaf and petal effects, but cannot have the rune effects if they do not have the Arcane aspect.
☑️ Certain particles can be added for free regardless of aspects!
☑️ Colors do not need to match the examples.
☑️ You are not limited to how many different particle effect types you can use, such as both butterflies AND eyes. However, the clusters are not additive, and cannot crowd a crest with every type of particle. They remain just as spaced out and sparse as they would with a single type.
☑️ Crest particles must remain small and simplistic in shape, and should flow with or around the crest.
❌ Should not interact or intersect with other traits.
❌ Should not be used to resemble traits a character doesn't have (ex: using runes to resemble mythic crests, or being so spaced out they look like the wisp trait). They should not resemble a second crest.
❌ Placement should be at least somewhat random-looking and not form obvious lines or clear shapes, such as circles.
❌ The number of particles cannot be very low, such as one or two of a particle. It must be a good few.
❌ Particles must follow the color crest guidlines (i.e. you cannot have mythic colored particles, such as black, unless your crest is mythic, etc)
Common browbird horn types.
These are the default horns available to all browbirds and can be used on any browbird design.
✅ Any of these horns can be switched to on any browbird at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket.
✅ The maximum length cannot be longer than the browbird's head height
✅ Can be as thick as the thickest horns shown in the examples below
🔸 This trait allows only one set of horns placed on the top of the head.
🔸 Common horns should not have multiple branches or prongs but they can have very small divets at the tips
🔸 Common horns should remain as simple, smooth shapes with minimal hard edges or abrupt curves.
★ When creating a new design with common horns or adding common horns to an existing design, you are also able to add the following horn modifiers for free:
★ If you have an Uncommon Trait Potion, access to an uncommon trait, or another item that allows for it, you may also add on one of the following per uncommon trait:
★ If you have a Rare Trait potion, access to a rare trait for your MYO, or another item that allows for it, you may also add on one of the following per rare trait to your common horns:
Examples of Common Horns

✅ Common Tails can optionally have a single, simple spaded tip!
❌ Fluff amount/tail thickness should not be more than the tails shown shown in examples.
❌ This trait cannot be applied multiple times for multiple tails.
❌ Tail fur cannot be used to increase length passed the max length.
