✅ Runes can be fictional symbols or real life words/symbols. If submitting a design using real life words please provide a translation when submitting if they are non-english words. Any text that breaks community guidelines is not permitted.
Arisen Crest (★Mythic)
Choose one of the following shapes. Once chosen, you cannot change the shape.
Legendary Crest (★Legendary)
This trait is a WIP! While it is available for use, please be aware that designs submitted are more likely to be rejected if they use this trait due to lack of up to date reference material.
🌈 Can be applied to a browbird if you have access to a legendary trait.
Trait: Changes the browbird's crest into a legendary crest type.
Size: Combined all crests can cover an area that is 50% of the main body height in both height and midth. Can have some trailing areas that go slightly further but it shouldn't be longer than the character's body.✅ Can apply any common-mythic crest effects.
✅ Possible Crest Styles:
- Clock - Requires time aspect
- Key - Requires 1 of the following: Reverie subtype, dream aspect, nightmare aspect, will aspect
- Solar System - Requires astral aspect
- Tower - Resembles detailed buildings and other structures
- Chain - Several objects chained together
- Creature - Resembles an animal of some type, real or fantasy. Can be detailed
- Island - Resembles a floating island of some kind, can have stuctures
- Weapon - A detailed weapon of some kind
- Gate - Can store/summon things in a personalized pocket dimension that only the crested can use. This can be applied to other crest types with the use of this legendary trait.
➕ Hiros Winged Crest (★Uncommon)
➕ This trait can only be added to the Hiros/Half hiros subtype.
✅ Existing Designs: When your character already has an uncommon crest, or a crest with uncommon effects you may add on additional uncommon effects (or effects of lower rarities) at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket.
❌ Uncommon effects cannot be added onto an existing design otherwise. And item with this functionality is planned for a future update.✅ MYO Designing: When designing a new character, adding an uncommon effect to a crest shape of a lower rarity makes the entire crest uncommon. You may use an Uncommon Trait Potion or purchased uncommon trait to make the crest uncommon.
Trait: The uncommon winged effect can have 1 - 2 wings placed anywhere on the crest.
Size: Wings should be no bigger than what is shown. However, there is no size limit to wings on mythic crests.✅ The wings themselves can be styled differently than what is shown. They can blend more with the crest or be more stylized.
✅ They can be attached to the crest or floating very close to it.
✅ They can be applied to any crest shape, not just the ones shown in examples.❌
➕ Hiros Empyrean Crest (★Rare)
❗ This trait is restricted to hiros/half-hiros subtype browirds only!
➕ This trait can only be added to the Hiros/Half hiros subtype.
✅ Existing Designs: When your character already has a rare crest, or a crest with rare effect you may add on additional rare effects (or effects of lower rarities) at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket.

➕ Crest Particle Effect (★Common)
Crest Particle Effects
Crest particles are a small, optional trait and can be added to the crest.
These particles are made entirely of magic and would not be something you could "move" or "pick up". The effects will usually sit on or float around with the crest and follow its flow. If one were to fall too far away from the crest, it would fade away.✅ Existing Designs: Particle effects can be added to any browbird's crest at the design change salon through the use of an Appearence Change ticket if they meet the criteria.✅ MYO Designing: When designing a new character, you are able to use these effects for free if your design meets the criteria.✅ Limitations:
☑️ Crest particles can be added so long as your character meets the corresponding aspect criteria. For example, browbirds with the Wood aspect may add the leaf and petal effects, but cannot have the rune effects if they do not have the Arcane aspect.
☑️ Certain particles can be added for free regardless of aspects!
☑️ Colors do not need to match the examples.
☑️ You are not limited to how many different particle effect types you can use, such as both butterflies AND eyes. However, the clusters are not additive, and cannot crowd a crest with every type of particle. They remain just as spaced out and sparse as they would with a single type.
☑️ Crest particles must remain small and simplistic in shape, and should flow with or around the crest.
❌ Should not interact or intersect with other traits.
❌ Should not be used to resemble traits a character doesn't have (ex: using runes to resemble mythic crests, or being so spaced out they look like the wisp trait). They should not resemble a second crest.
❌ Placement should be at least somewhat random-looking and not form obvious lines or clear shapes, such as circles.
❌ The number of particles cannot be very low, such as one or two of a particle. It must be a good few.
❌ Particles must follow the color crest guidlines (i.e. you cannot have mythic colored particles, such as black, unless your crest is mythic, etc)
Browlet Crest (★Standard)
This trait is only added to browlets! It takes the place of all other crest traits.

- Cannot be applied with any items, MYOs, or grants!
Trait: A crest before its formed, constantly changing in shape and color until it eventually condenses and settles on a single form.
Size: Small, about 50% head height.
✅ Can be any bright color!
✅ Can be any vague or fluid in form, such as: flames, liquid, clouds, swirls, forming stars, or simple shapesSince baby crests aren't fully formed yet, the color and shape of this crest doesn't translate over to the adult design's crest! Crest on the adult design will always be common by default unless other traits are used to replace it upon creation.

‼️ Please read over the main crest info first! Applying any of these effects will make your crest UNCOMMON.
★ Blazing Crest
Trait: Lights a crest on fire giving it a burning aura, or makes a flaming crest even more firey.
✅ SPECIAL SIZING FOR BLAZING ONLY: One flame trail of the blazing effect can extend 1x extra head height past the main crest for common-rare crests. Cannot make mythic crests larger than max. DOES NOT CHANGE CREST SIZE this only affects the blazing flame trail.
✅ Can be applied to any crest to make it firey. Crest can be surrounded in fire or have flaming trails
✅ Can be applied to other effects
✅ For fire-styled crests it gives them a larger blaze and multiple flame tails
✅ Flame trails can have smaller branching flames❌ Flames should flow together and not be spiked out in all directions
★ A burning soul! While most crests only give a slight tingly sensation when reached through, the blazing crest feels a little warm though it isn't enough to burn. Crests like these are souls overflowing with energy and it takes added effort to control it.
★ Bubble
Trait: Makes the crest bubbly or bubble-like in appearance
✅ Can be slightly translucent on 25% of the crest TOTAL as long as color is still retained elsewhere
✅ Can affect any shape or other effects❌ CANNOT BE ENTIRELY TRANSPARENT, must still have obvious color on the crest and should follow all crest color guidelines.
❌ Cannot have other shapes floating in the bubble by default, you would need a second crest to have something contained inside the bubble crest
❌ Bubbles should be ATTACHED or float very very close to the crest
❌ Bubbles on the crest should be round
★ The bubbles signify leaking energy, causing those with crests like these to tire out a bit faster. Their crests sometimes look as if they're being boiled, especially when the browbird experiences heightened emotions.
★ Ooze
Trait: Allows the crest to look like liquid or drip.
✅ Goo can be like water, slime, painted, etc and can be flowing or stringy
✅ Can be applied to any shape or effect
✅ Can make the crest itself drip, or create a dripping boarder around the crest, or a combination of the two❌ The liquid is not actually physical and would not drip onto the character, it should be contained to the crest only
★ Oozing leak much in the same way bubbling crests do, but not nearly to the same extent. These crests are slower to recover magical energy.
★ Radiance
Trait: Places a halo-like disc behind the crest shape. It can have simple lines!
✅ Can entirely surround the crest or surround only specific parts of it
✅ If the disc overlaps with the horns/hair/head it would always appear BEHIND the horns/hair/head, even if the crest itself would not!
✅ Lines can extend very slightly beyond the radiance disc❌ The radiance ALWAYS appears behind the crest no matter the angle
❌ The radiance is NOT separate from the crest
❌ MUST have lines within the radiance like the examples, it cannot be a featureless circle
❌ Lines should be straight or circular only like the examples, they should not be ornate or swirl
❌ Can only be applied ONCE per crest
❌ Can only be disc shaped
❌ Cannot extend past sizing limits, if the crest is already max sizing you would have to make it smaller to use radiance
★ The mark of someone who has excellent control over their magical abilities, not a single bit of aura is wasted.
★ Facet
Trait: Gives the crest a gemestone-like look
✅ Can be applied to any crest or effect
✅ Can make the crest slightly more geometric as long as it still retains the same shape❌ MUST STILL LOOK LIKE THE SAME CREST SHAPE cannot be used to make the crest resemble shapes of a higher rarity. The crystal texture should always follow the logic of the crest shape.
❌ Other shapes cannot be contained within the gemstone unless you have a second crest placed within it!
★ There's a lot going on with facet crest people.
