Sluggies are friendly at heart and live symbiotically with their environments, used by surrounding coral as living batteries that encourage healthy growth. It's even possible for celestial citizens to harness this magic without harming them at all!

Cherubun have been known to gobble up magical treats. Their excitement can sometimes lead to surges or lulls in the magic of their immediate area, though this is usually either naturally corrected or remedied by a responsible owner. Because of this tendency, it's believed that cherubun tokens can bring luck to those who carry them; it's thought that the cherubun draws magic and therefore good luck to the owner. In reality, no such phenomenon is at play, but if someone holds a token close and believes it will bring them luck, it can gain traces of the luck aspect regardless.

FORM CREATION

• Alt form is STANDARD TYPE ONLY (unless a grant specifies otherwise)

• Colors & markings can be adjusted by up to 30% from the base form
  • You can stack with a dye kit to reach a 60% MAX color & marking difference between forms.
• Alt forms are edited separately after creation, you do not need to edit or trait them together!
• Alt forms can be a form they change into somehow, a past or future version of themself, or something else! BOTH can be used canonically in prompts.

★ Description: 

An orb filled with water taken from ancient seas that the Astreans called home, and sealed away for thousands of years. The care put into crafting it, and the time it has been left untouched had allowed it to gradually generate it's own magical energy and now it is extremely potent and powerful.

These items are extremely rare and usually only one or two at most will ever be found in an Astrean temple, and even then they are hidden away from anyone who might pass through. Due to their scarcity and the obvious dedication that was put into creating them, it is often thought they were used for some type of ritual important to Astreans and therefore are sacred objects.

The dye kit allows you to edit the colors and markings of your character in a wider range than normally allowed by free edits.

 

You are able to adjust main body colors and markings to slightly different hues, to be lighter or darker, and more or less saturated. New colors can be added as well to smaller accent areas. Markings can be added, removed, and changed as well! Overall the design should still be recognizeable as the original design, but this item allows more freedom in customizing your character!

❗ Once reincarnated once, a design cannot be reincarnated again unless you pair it with a temporal reversal. You can also reverse a reincarnation using that item.

 

GENERAL INFO

• ASPECTS REMAIN THE SAME
• Colors and markings can be entirely overhauled
• All usual free changes can be made, such as changing body type or adjusting standard features like eyes and ears
• You can add or remove as many common traits as you'd like
• You can pair a reincarnation with trait potions and subtype items
• You can remove a subtype, but cannot swap them

TRAITS

• The rarity you have to work with is based off what the design currently has on the masterlist, no extra traits/rarities will be granted or removed (unless missed on the initial upload). However, reincarnated designs must follow current guidelines for all traits.
• Traits the design came with can be edited, or swapped to any trait of the same or lower rarity. (Ex: swapping rare tail for rare horns)
•  Special and legendary traits can be kept as the exact same trait, you may adjust within the bounds of the trait but cannot swap them!
• Anomalies and Augmented traits are lost on reincarnation
• Any traits added with items(✦) should be kept as the same trait or removed
• You may add/remove free subtype traits as long as you kept that subtype. These cannot be swapped to any other trait.
• If you remove a subtype, any free traits are lost and their rarities do not carry over.

BROWBIRD CRESTS

• Crest shape can be changed to any within the same trait. (ex: flame changed to comet. eye crest changed to spider) but cannot be swapped to an entirely different shape type.
• You can use a trait potion of the appropriate rarity to add crest effects or add additional crests
• Can also be accomplished by trait swapping, however keep in mind it will be locked in once approved

PAINTED SATYR MASKS

• Existing mask materials cannot be changed
• If the mask is rare, but only has a single material, you may add a second one rare or below.
• If the mask is mythic, you may add extra materials capped at 3 total
• You may use rare or mythic trait potions to ADD additional mask materials to upgrade the mask to a higher rarity as long as the existing materials remain the same. (ex: if you have a wood mask, you can use a rare potion to add metal, but cannot change the wood mask to clay.)
• Mask can also have materials added by trait swapping!
• If materials are added, the satyr gains the required aspects if they do not already have them

ALT FORM USE

• You only need one reincarnation to update all alt forms, however each one must be submitted separately on the normal update cooldown. Think of it as reincarnating one forms “unlocks” the option for the others. Please note this when submitting a design update for other forms!
• Once one form is reincarnated, the others are not considered 'canon useable' if they no longer resemble the main form at all within normal alt form guidelines. As long as the general color/markings are still within 60% of the main form, the alt forms are still considered canon.

• HIROS INFO

★ Description: 

This ancient relic was recovered from the ruins of a fallen hiros city. These objects are small statues carried around or placed in front of buildings with the intent of inviting good luck and protection. The size of the statue was directly relevant to what it was supposed to invite onto the location in which it was placed. A small statue indicated good luck and protection from illnesses or misfortune for the person who carried it with them, while a large statue could watch over a large area. 

 

These statues are still common today and can be found all over, you'll see them most often in gardens and in front of businesses run by hiros browbirds.

 

This particular statue is incredibly old, however it has a distinct feature that sets it apart from most hiros statues. Wings are fairly uncommon for these statues, and a glowing halo of energy even more so. This must indicate that it holds an old and mysterious power...

Reverses a use of the reincarnation item and fully resets a character to their original design.
Anything added to the character after the initial reincarnation will be removed, including alternate designs and traits added to the character through items. Once used, this will allow the design to be reincarnated again and all design edits created before the reincarnation become accessible to switch to!

RESETS some or all questline progress on a single character allowing those quests to be done again. You must create NEW WORK for the new quest submissions.

 

• Once per character. Limit resets if the design changes ownership! This is not impacted by using a Reincarnation.
• You choose which quests to wipe. Can be specific quests or all of them. This can include quests created by you.
• It cannot be used on events, dailes, weeklies, or monthlies, only these quests that are done once per character! The completion badge will be removed from the character's description.
• For Painted Satyrs who have completed the Grove questline, this item will remove Grove Form as well allowing for you to choose a new path.
• If you reset the crafting quest you do not lose your ability to craft!

This item's use excludes types added through items on existing designs, which can be reverted to their past variations for free. This is only for designs originally created as a specific type. You only need one copy of this item to remove multiple subtypes.

 

When removing a subtype all type-specific traits and any free traits allowed for that type that were applied to the character are automatically removed. Please contact staff before purchasing this item if you have any questions about how it may affect your character.
