Dreamers pulled from the depths of the Dreamscape too soon find themselves waking to rub this dust from their eyes. What they are trying to hold onto or what purpose it serves is unclear, but it’s especially prevalent with those who sleep near dimensional openings and, interestingly enough, seems to match the appearance of the sandy shores by the Starwell. When you hold it, a strong feeling of déjà vu and the distinct feeling of missing someone washes over you, like you’ve forgotten something important. Keeping it in a small bottle and hanging it over your bed is said to tempt good dreams into your sleeping hours, though it’s unclear whether or not this is simple superstition.

The swirling clouds of storms brought on by magic are sometimes so dense that they can be plucked from the sky and weaved into sheets of incredibly soft fabric. Such cloth is often used in the tailoring of enchanted items as it tends to take hold of the spells much easier.

★ Description: 

The fabric of the universe is stiched together with the threads of time by Temora's needles. This twine is only a fraction of that power of course, as it's only a replica. However it's use in binding magical  tomes, enchanted clothing, or as accents on a special weapon's decorative tassels will help in ensuring the item lasts much longer than a mundane counterpart.

★ Description: 

Bark chipped from the great blackpines of Aldebast. In the past it was difficult to obtain due to the sinister King's ice constructs that served to keep people out of the forests. However, in recent times it has become easier to come across and the people of Aldebast have taken advantage of the opportunity!

It has a pleasant, but somewhat bitter taste and is useful for cooking. Blackpine itself isn't magical, but when ground up and mixed with other magical ingredients in potion brewing it has an enhancement effect.

The dust of the universe from long dead worlds, shattered suns, and the aftermath of grand magic performed by ancients long before our time. During starstorms it can be collected in small amounts from craters where Celestial objects make impact. It disintegrates easily, so it must be handled with care.

★ Description: 

The blood of powerful magical monsters, though difficult to obtain, is bubbling with chaotic energies necessary for certain potions, spells, and rituals.  It is a peculiar color not often seen in most creatures. 

Those of the blood aspect often opt to make use of this type of blood as a weapon if necessary as it is manipulated by magic just as easily as ones own.

When in the throes of its painful rebirth, the giant phoenix that soars across the starlit skies in pursuit of the sun takes to plucking its feathers. These feathers are said to bless the ground they land upon, inspiring new life in the world. The glowing cinders at the tips of the feathers cannot be extinguished by any normal means.

Sweet milk from a far off place used in a variety of cooking recipes. Rare rivers of this milk flow openly alongside the astral oceans and it's thought that large amounts of this is what eventually becomes the moons in which moon cheese is harvested from.  A particular alien creature is shown on the label, a cartoonish depiction of some sort of divine beast.

A drop of pure darkness trapped in a bottle, this elusive substance is produced from synthesized nightmares. Filled to the brim with bad omens and harbingers of doom, it’s often traded as a cursed object in black markets. Dreamwalkers sometimes harvest this magic from particularly disturbed sleepers, even going so far as to coax the dreamer further into fear for their own material gain. It’s sealed tightly by one of the most powerful spells: a promise. Opening the bottle unleashes the fear of the beholder into reality.

★ Description: 

A homemade syrup loved by all autumn enthusiasts, spice syrup is often used as an ingredient in cooking and baking or drizzled over pancakes like maple syrup. It's highly concentrated but when used in moderation, fills a treat with the warm, heady scent of autumn. Everyone has their own unique recipe, but notes of cinnamon, pumpkin, maple, and other woodsy flavors usually shine through. Drinking it on its own is not recommended!

★ Description: 

During the autumn months, the mystical pillars of nature known as starwood trees begin to shed their magical leaves. Although the leaves are naturally blue and sparkly, much like the veins that run up the bark of the trees themselves, they begin to lose their sheen after falling from the tree. Magic burns off the deep blues over the course of weeks, transforming them into what appear to be completely normal maple leaves. Dedicated potionmakers and spellcasters like to collect the leaves during this burning stage; the magic of the leaf is far easier to harness while it undergoes this strange metamorphosis.

★ Description: 

The nature of fairyflies is much contested: are they a creature or a phenomenon? They commonly cluster together to create one larger organism, but individual fairyflies appear to be able to function on their own. They follow the channels of leylines ordinarily not visible to the observer: these magical creatures are somehow able to sense them and never stray from their course. There are stories of those lost in terrible blizzards or stranded on mountainous outcrops following trails of fairyflies back to civilization.

★ Description:

★ Description: 

A parasitic creature that feeds upon dreams, the prisma mimic is an imitation of the much larger prisma monarch. The wing scale dust of a prisma mimic is similar to dream sand in properties and can induce sleep when ingested, typically in order to create more dreams for the creatures to feast on. Prisma mimic infestations can easily get out of hand and must quickly be nipped in the bud for the safety of all dreamers, but dead prisma mimics are often preserved in order to access the magic and dreams that they have eaten.
