About the Wisher's Well
There are many legends told across the Astral Seas of lakes, ponds, rifts and wells that are said to grant a wish if you toss in some stargold. All wishes are welcome at these places, though it's rare that a body of water will ever contain the magic needed.
The Wisher's Well in the Magician's District of Centuary is different though. It is a place of true, potent magic that has stood at the center of the district's plaza for centuries. Though what it does is a bit different from what one may expect from a traditional magical well.
Rather than dropping in coins, you are to place something of value into the well and when you do so, the well spits out some stargold for you to take. The item you left will then find it's way to the person it is meant for, granting their wish. Perhaps one day when you make your way by the well, it will have a gift for you that was left by another!

When something of value is brought to the Wisherβs Well, the magic of the masonry will see to it that the gift ends up where it needs to go. Often, that means it will need to pass through the water and be teleported elsewhere, to other cities where it might be delivered to the person who needs it most.
Fortuneβs Fountain in Harara, the unsleeping desert oasis, is one such place. The fountain has a habit of spitting up what certain passersby need most in the world. Few people know why this happens, but itβs become something of an urban legend. Locals believe that giving something back to the fountain is good luck and an excellent gamble.
Their belief imbues the fountain with power and makes dreams come true. Leaving a gift in the water provides a bit of extra luck for the day, and usually turns up a rare celestial shard.

β¦ Many celestial citizens consider creatures of all shapes and sizes to be their faithful companions. From apricos to sol rocs, shardens to dalon fragments, the Celestial Seas boasts a wide variety of critters to befriend. You can never quite quell the inherent desire to adventure and explore, though β whether it's a lazy kettlecat or a shy and retiring crabit, companions will always find some way to get up to their own hijinks, with or without their owners.
β¦ Maybe it's a day out on the streets, on the run from the butcher with a trail of stolen sausages dragging across the ground behind them, or maybe it's a wander into a hidden forested grotto. What will your companion find? Who will they encounter? And, most importantly, what will they bring back with them?
