Fate, time, and destiny are fickle things. One slight difference, one small change, and the effects butterfly out across entire worlds. A decision as simple as choosing to take the skytrain or the starship to work can mean the difference between a chance encounter and a mundane commute. Sometimes, choice isn’t involved at all — the changes go back so far that two worlds, while both existing as the celestial seas in some form, are so dissimilar that certain people don’t even exist, while others exist in a completely different form than the one you know. Curious? Take a peek through a looking glass to catch a glimpse of the infinite realms and their endless permutations of life and chaos. Perhaps you’ll see something new.

Is their story largely the same, or has one key difference changed them completely? Have they gone from a salaryman to a pirate? A boxer to a pop star? Maybe their life is calmer in this alternate world, more comforting and domestic, or maybe it’s a fast paced jaunt across the stars in a ship of their own making.
Are they the same species, or has your browbird suddenly turned into a kitbull? Do they know the same magic? Perhaps they’ve acquired a subtype they didn’t have in their original world, or lost one that they did. As long as they’re still part of the celestial seas, anything is possible!

This prompt allows you to depicted a character as ANY OTHER celestial species, companion, subtype, and with different traits. This is just for prompt purposes/for fun and would not be a "canon" designs in the ARPG! Whether or not their design is altered, you are also allowed to imagine them in entirely different professions, different archetypes, or any "what if ___ happened instead" scenarios. As long as the AU idea is still set within the celestial seas universe with C-S species it's OK!

Must show at least 25% of 1 character
Does not require a background

Must be at least 300 words
Must clearly be about OR written from the perspective of the character

✦ For a companion (or companion form) to count at least 75% of the design must be visible.
✦ Designs should still clearly resemble a C-S species or companion
✦ Apparel items that grant a bonus must clearly be worn. Trinkets do NOT have to be visible but can optionally be incorporated.
✦ You may use up to 1 companion, 1 adult mount, 1 apparel item, and 1 trinket on a single entry.
